Indian Institute of Technology IIT Roorkey has released the online application for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE 2025 will start from 28 August 2024 and the last date to apply will be 03 October 2024. IIT GATE 2025 Application Details

Important Dates:

• Application Start Date: 28th August 2024
• Last Date to Apply Online (Phase I): 3rd October 2024
• Last Date to Apply Online (Phase II – Extended Period): 7th October 2024
• Exam Dates: 1st, 2nd, 15th, 16th February 2025
• Admit Card Available: Before the exam
• Result Declared: March 2025

GATE 2025 Eligibility:

Candidates must have completed or be appearing for one of the following qualifications:

• B.E / B.Tech
• B.Pharm
• B.Arch
• B.Sc. (Research)
• B.S.
• M.Sc.
• M.A.
• MCA
• M.E. / M.Tech
• Dual Degree
• Integrated Courses

Photo & Document Instructions:

Photo:

• Upload a good quality, latest passport-size color photo with a white background.
• Ensure your face occupies at least 75% of the photograph.

Thumb Impression:

• Draw a rectangular box (3 cm x 5 cm) on an A4 sheet of paper.
• Place your left thumb impression within the box.

Signature:

• Draw a rectangular box (2 cm x 7 cm) on an A4 sheet of paper.
• Sign within the box using a black or blue pen in running handwriting.

How to Fill the IIT GATE 2025 Online Application Form:

1. Read the Notification:
   Carefully go through the official GATE 2025 notification before applying.
2. Eligibility Check:
   Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the notification.
3. Prepare Documents:
   Before starting your application, make sure you have the following documents ready:

• Scanned photo, signature, thumb impression, and ID proof.
• Your eligibility documents (e.g., educational qualifications, degree, etc.).
• Your basic details (name, address, etc.).

1. Apply Online:

• The online application window is open from 28th August 2024 to 3rd October 2024.
• You can apply during the extended period (Phase II) until 7th October 2024 (with late fees).

1. Fill the Form:
   Carefully fill in all the required details in the online form, including your personal and educational information.
2. Pay the Application Fee:
   If applicable, make sure to pay the correct application fee. Failure to pay the fee will result in an incomplete form.
3. Preview and Submit:

• Before submitting, review your application form and make sure all information is correct.
• Once you are satisfied with the details, submit your application.

1. Print Confirmation:
   After submitting your form, take a printout of the final submitted form for your reference.

Important Notes:

• Ensure all documents (photo, signature, thumb impression, etc.) are clear and meet the specified requirements.
• If you are applying after 3rd October 2024, please be aware of the additional late fee.
• Double-check the information entered in the application before submitting it.
• Keep a copy of the final application form and fee receipt for future reference.
